The One Story – The Sermon About Waiting | 1 Samuel 13:11-15
Know Christ as King (head – understanding God and the story)
1. In 1 Samuel 13:11–15, why does God call Saul’s action “foolish” even though he was trying to seek the Lord’s favour? What does this reveal about obedience under Christ’s kingship?
2. 2 Chronicles 16:9 says that “the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.” How does this shape our understanding of God’s role while we are waiting?

1. Where in your life are you currently “waiting” on God? How does knowing that God is actively looking to strengthen you (2 Chronicles 16:9) change how you experience that waiting?
